The Ontario Native Women's Association (ONWA) is a not- for- profit organization that was established in 1971 to empower and support Indigenous women and their families throughout the province of Ontario.

ONWA's guiding principle is that all Indigenous ancestry will be treated with dignity, respect and equality; benefits and services will be extended to all, no matter where one lives and regardless of Tribal heritage.

ONWA’s VISION is to be a unified voice for equity, equality and justice for Indigenous women through cultural restoration within and across Nations.

ONWA delivers programs and services to Indigenous women regardless of their status or locality. ONWA’s head office is located in Fort William First Nation, Ontario with programs being offered across the province via satellite offices located in Dryden, Geraldton, Hamilton, Kenora, Napanee, Ottawa, Sioux Lookout, Thunder Bay, and Timmins.
