What you will do As the Senior Analyst, within the Currency Department, you develop, lead, and execute the team’s most complex stakeholder engagement initiatives. You design, write, and recommend strategies and courses of action for different projects and programs to help the team carry out its mandate. More specifically, you will: lead, analyze, plan, develop and recommend complex plans and strategies for a variety of Currency-related projects, such as public consultation initiatives and development of stakeholder engagement plans represent the team on internal cross-departmental projects and teams, such as bank note development and policy implementation coordinate and integrate activities within the Currency Department, with cross-departmental teams at the Bank, and with external partners coordinate the the communications’ component of banknote-related business continuity build and maintain long term relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other central banks, in support of business needs work closely with the Senior Writers/Product Developer Analysts, to ensure consistent and relevant messaging in the department’s internal and external presentations What you need to succeed highly developed and clearly demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills strong communication skills, both oral and written strong team player with ability to work well with clients, internal partners and business contacts at all levels ability to: research and gather information, resolve discrepancies, discern relevant data and make sound decisions and appropriate recommendations develop project plans and strategic plans and carry them out effectively plan, organize and perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines identify, establish, nurture and optimize key and critical strategic relationships with various stakeholders and partners whose co-operation is important to current and future success share expertise, provide constructive feedback and contribute ideas to others to achieve common goals deliver clear and engaging presentations to various audiences (internal and external to the Bank) of key corporate messages, products and services be proactive and to work independently with a minimum level of supervision Nice-to-have general knowledge of bank note life cycle experience working with indigenous stakeholders Your education and experience The position requires a bachelor’s degree in communications, administration, journalism, marketing or a related discipline and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be also be considered. What you need to know Language requirement: English and French essential (bilingual) with a minimum starting level of functional (level 4) in second official language. Training may be provided to help reach the required level of fully functional (level 5) in second official language. Salaries are based on qualifications and experience and typically range from $85,100 to $106,300 (job grade 17) Depending on performance, you may be eligible for performance pay for successfully meeting (7 to 10% of your base salary) or for exceeding expectations (15% of your base salary). Exceptional performers who far exceed expectations may be eligible for higher performance pay.
